Colchester Swimming Club is reliant on support from volunteers and the local community.

Covid-19 has made the Club’s normal operations very complex and has disrupted our usual means of generating income through hosting swimming meets.

This income helps to keep membership fees affordable but also supports plans the club has to grow its members through expansion of pool space and improving the offer to current members.

The Club is keen to hear from local businesses who could provide financial support.

We have different sponsorship packages available, which provide companies with marketing opportunities at our Club’s competitions.

Colchester Swimming Club provides a valuable service to Colchester and the surrounding community by:

• promoting the importance of fitness, nutrition, hydration and mental health across all ages, swim levels and sections of the Club;
• providing focus and discipline to children and young adults, which follows through into other aspects of their lives;
• offering opportunities to coaches and volunteers to develop a range of skills which support both the club and offer personal development opportunities.  The Club supports many teenagers in gaining their Duke of Edinburgh Awards and GCSE or A Level PE qualifications; and by developing their teaching and coaching skills that are useful in educational and workplace settings.

COVID 19 has disrupted all aspects of life and we as a Swimming Club depend heavily on our fund raising activities (like Open Meets) to maintain our valuable services. Please support us in getting through this difficult pandemic.
